Nothing to fear here: Our homemade THC Gummy Bears pack but a small dose so you can microdose with ease. Gummies are surprising simple to make. Collect everything you need and get cooking with your first batch of edibles. Microdosing is a great way to manage anxiety in these high-stress times. Each gummy bear contains approximately 5mg of THC, which is a good starting point for the uninitiated. Remember to start low and go slow. It can take up to an hour to feel the full effects of the THC. Make a “virgin” batch for nibbling when the munchies set in.
What you’ll need:
1 cup juice
2 Tbsp honey
3 ½ Tbsp gelatine powder
pinch of salt
2 tsp THC tincture* (24mg/ml)
Yields: 48 gummy bears
How to:
Step 1: In a saucepan bring juice to a boil then reduce heat to low. Add a pinch of salt.
Step 2: Add honey
Step 3: Whisk to combine
Step 4: Add gelatine slowly while whisking
Step 5: Remove from heat and add THC tincture
Step 6: Spoon into gummy bear moulds (2 x 24 gummy bears)
Step 7: Refrigerate till set, about 30 minutes
*THC tincture comes in different strengths or concentrations. We’ve used commercially available THC tincture with a concentration of THC 24mg/ml. This results in a 5mg microdose per gummy bear. Using a tincture with a lower THC concentration will result in a lower dose with a milder effect. You can always nibble more gummy bears or increase the amount of tincture used in this recipe. You can also use this recipe to make CBD gummies using CBD tincture instead of THC tincture or “virgin” bears with no tincture.
Store safely out of reach of children and pets
